Senior Women

 

The women leagues shall comprise of all clubs and districts playing women’s football.

The focus of organizing the senior women is to participate successfully in senior competition, regional and international.

 

The senior women’s competition is expected to commence in June.

 

The SLFA promotes the development of women’s football and pledges to support women’s football financially and to give women players, coaches and referees and officials the opportunity to become actively involved in football.

FIFA is helping to popularize the game by increasing public awareness and conducting information campaigns as well as overcoming social and cultural obstacles for women with the ultimate aim of improving women’s standing in society.
